Lloyd Raymond Baker, 62, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, April 23 at 11:05pm at Cox South after a brief illness. A native of Springfield, Lloyd was born as the only child of Marcus and Dorothy Baker on September 12, 1955. He grew up in Fair Grove, Missouri and graduated High School there in 1970. In 1974, Lloyd went to work for French’s Mustard, later known as Reckitt Benckiser. He retired after 33 years of service in 2007.
Lloyd married the love of his life, Judy Ann Caudill December 20, 1982. They have two sons, Jeremiah Baker and his wife Tambra of Springfield, and Kris Kidwiler and his wife Tabitha of Joplin.
Lloyd loved working with his hands, NASCAR, bowling, and was an avid pool player. He was a member of United Lodge #5, AF & AM, The Valley of Joplin, AASR, and Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Temple. He was loved by all and will missed dearly.
