Linda Graham Daughtrey

Linda Graham Daughtrey, 60 of Republic, passed into the company of Our Lord on the morning of Feb. 20, 2010. She was born in Springfield on Feb. 8, 1950 and was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Graham.

She is survived by her mother, Juanita Graham-King; brother, Larry Graham and his wife Janice; daughter, Jenna Presley; son, Seth Daughtrey; and their father, Mark Daughtrey. Her love of the arts and children led her to Montessori training in St. Joseph, Missouri, then on to own Appletree Day Care in Springfield. A move to the Kansas City area led her to the Clay-Platte Montessori School in Kansas City. As her passion and love was always children, her family was extended through the years to include Sam Presley, Justin Lisk, Ashley Bluebaum, and Ryan Cloud.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday Feb. 24, 2010 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Chapel 500 E. Walnut Street with Rev. Scott Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Tuesday in the funeral home.
