Linda Kay Butler of Nixa Missouri entered into eternal peace on June 30, 2014.
Linda was born on June 17, 1964 in Los Angeles, California. She is survived by her loving children, Holly Russell, Renee Evans, Crystal Turner, Aundria Haworth and Chris Haworth. Linda had several grandchildren and grandpuppies that she treasured. Grandchildren Carmen, Katelyn, Emily, Blake, Linda Allison, Austin, Graicie, Colton and Savannah. Grandpuppies Gizmo, Thor and Lexi. She is also survived by her faithful and loving companion of 17 years, Bill Derek Haworth and her devoted best friend of 20 years, John LaFuze.
Linda was creative, artistic and had a flare for fashion. She proudly graduated from The Missouri School of Cosmetology and took pleasure in her career as a cosmetologist.
Linda had an essence of life and love that can never be replicated or replaced. She could make a friend of any stranger and protected the ones she loved with all of her being. She cherished her family and her “adopted” family and loved them when they were at their worst just as deeply as when they were at their best.
Although the Lord has called her home she is not gone. We will forever know her love, feel her inspiration and hold her deep in our hearts.
Memorial visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday July 7, 2014 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut St.
