Leonard Roetto

Leonard J. "Rosy" Roetto, 84, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on July 30, 2004, in Christian Healthcare Center Republic.

He was born on December 26, 1919, to Pete and Emma Roetto. Leonard was a veteran of World War II and was in refrigeration sales and service for many years.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, one brother and his son, Thomas Roetto.

He is survived by his wife Helen, to whom he was married for 62 years; his son Robert (Bob) and his wife, a brother and his wife; a daughter in law, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004 in St. Agnes Cathedral with burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.

Prayer services will be at 7 p.m. Monday with visitation to follow until 8 pm all in the funeral home.
