Lefa Dohle

Lefa Karen (Asher) Dohle, 81, passed away Tuesday January 16, 2024 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Mo.

Lefa was born to Royice Asher and Eva (Bussard) Asher on April 1 Oth, 1942. She was followed by four brothers, Royice, James, David, and Dean.

She married right after high school, and 6 children soon followed. Karen came first, then Roy and Ronald. Sadly, Roy passed away in an accident at the age of 2. After followed William, Bobby, and Michael. When that marriage dissolved, she then married again and had Teresa. Again, that marriage was not to be.

In 1989 she married the love of her life, Raymond Dohle. and spent 26 wonderful years together before Raymond passed away in 2015.

Lefa was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and most recently a member of Sunset Church of Christ

Lefa spent her whole life devoted to her children and grandchildren. She was ever present in their lives and seldom missed any milestone. If anyone ever had any questions about how old someone was or when their birthday was, or anyone's anniversary date. She was the one to call. She always had a story to tell about her days growing up on the farm, antics with her brothers, and childhood stories about her children.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, two brothers, James, and Dean. Her husband Raymond. Sons Roy, Ronald, and William.

She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her surviving children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from Noon-1:00pm on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral home, 500 E Walnut in Springfield, Missouri. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1 p.m. with Minister Dwight Samuel officiating. A burial will follow at Patterson Cemetery.

The family has entrusted Herman H. Lohmeyer funeral home with final arrangements.
