Laura Hughes

Laura Lea Hughes left to be with the Lord on August 21, 2020.

She was born in a log cabin in Elwood, Missouri on October 9, 1952. She loved her dogs and she loved her family. She enjoyed NASCAR and talking daily, several times a day, with her sister, Kathy, always saying Goodnight and I love at the end of the day.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Gerald Hughes and Martha Ann Galbraith and siblings Jacquelee Choate, Michael Hughes and Brian Hughes.

She is survived by her sister Kathy Hughes; nieces, Shelly Bayliff, Nikki Dugger, Shanon Hughes, Madison Hughes; and nephews, David Squibb, Michael Gammill, Andrew Hughes, Jacob Hughes, Scott Hughes and Josh Hughes.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held on September 5, 2020 at Nikki and Thomas Dugger’s Home at 6:00pm.
