Laura Beuerlein

Laura “Cecilia” Beuerlein, age 89, departed this life on Monday, February 13, 2012. She was born on January 9, 1923 in St. Francois County, Missouri. Cecilia was the second oldest daughter of seven children born to Frank A. and Mary Elizabeth (Sebastian) Mullersman. Cecilia was united in marriage to Lawrence A. Beuerlein on November 15, 1941. He preceded her in death in 1980 after 39 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her brother Paul Mullersman and sisters; Madelyn Simpson, Betty Fletcher and Patricia Riba.
Cecilia was the loving mother of two daughters and six sons; Judith Willis, Lawrence (Sharla), James (Beverly), John (Crystal), Robert, Thomas (Kimberly), Jeffrey (Johnna) and Jennifer Beuerlein. She is survived by 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Cecilia is also survived by her two sisters Rita Beuerlein and Mary Helen Heinkel.
Cecilia was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella.
Visitation is planned for Friday, February 17, 2012 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home. Funeral Mass is planned for Saturday, February 18, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., in Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at The Manor At Elfindale for the special care given to “Ms. Laura”. Also in lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Drury University, 900 North Benton Avenue, Springfield, MO 65802.
