Larry Glen Walker, 72, of Strafford MO passed November 26th, 2013. He was born December 30th, 1940 in Walnut Grove, MO. He is survived by childhood sweetheart and wife Lena Walker, sister Jerry of Pennsylvania, brothers Lonnie of Texas and Gary of Missouri, three children, LeDena (Thomas)of Sparks NV, DaTina (Greg)of Sparks, NV, and Randy of Sparks, NV, four grandchildren, Lynette (Ryan), Brandon, Lanae, and Brooke, two great-grandchildren, Logan, Landon, and also his nieces and nephews . He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Barbara and Clyde Walker, four brothers and one sister. As an avid outdoorsman he has spent many years hunting and fishing. Larry retired from the United State Navy after 21 years of dedicated service. Larry then continued as an electrician in both Nevada, and Missouri. Larry has passed on an honorable legacy of dedication and love. He will be forever missed and never forgotten as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday December 15, 2013 with Chaplain Suzy Lynch officiating under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.
