Khoat V. Doan 85, Springfield passed away at 7:15 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2006 in his home.

Khoat was born June 1, 1921 in Hung Yen, Vietnam to Khuong V. Doan and Luong T. Ta.

He is survived by his wife, Tien Doan; his ten children, Bich Hong T. Doan, Hanh D. Pham and his wife Kim Trang, Dat T. Doan and his wife Thanh Hai, Bich Ha D. Nguyen and her husband Tam D. Nguyen, Hoang M. Doan and his wife Mary Katherine, Hai V. Doan and his wife Huong, Bich Hang Nguyen and her husband Kha Nguyen, Bich Huyen Nguyen and her husband Tung Nguyen, Bich Huong T. Doan, and Huy Q. Doan and his wife Shelly Doan; his four siblings, Ngoat T. Doan, Khoa V. Doan, My T. Doan, Khoi D. Doan, his eighteen grandchildren and his three great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be at 9 a.m. Saturday July 22, 2006 in St. Agnes Cathedral with Rev. Bernadine Tan Minh Dang, CMC, Rev. Francis Tuat Minh Luong, CMC and Priests of CMC. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut Street. Prayer services will be at 7 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2006 in the funeral home.
