Kenneth R. Waller, 61, went home to be with the Lord on October 17, 2012. Memorial Services will be held at Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home on Monday October 22, at 12:00 noon. Full military honors will be held at the Springfield National Cemetery immediately following the service. No visitation is planned.
Kenneth was born in Martin City, Missouri on May 5, 1951, to Clifford and Bernice Waller. He lived most of his life in Kansas City, Missouri before moving to Springfield, Missouri in 2005, where he married his loving wife, Patricia. Kenneth was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He also loved camping, gardening and had a passion for cooking. He was a very active member of South Haven Baptist Church. Kenneth joined the Marine Corp in 1968 and served in the Viet Nam war. Kenneth loved serving his wife, family and friends.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Clifford F. Waller, Sr; brothers, Clifford F. Waller, Jr., James Dennis Waller and Patrick Lynn Waller; and his stepson, Derek Commenator.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Patricia Waller, sons Christopher Waller and Todd Curtis, daughters Mindy and Misty Waller; mother, Bernice Boyce; brothers Orville and David Waller; sisters Janice DeMoss, Dianne Nylund and Donna Wages; his mother-in-law, Virgina Webster. He also leaves many extended precious family members and friends.
He was deeply loved all who knew him and will be forever missed.
