Kenneth Casteel

KENNETH WAYNE CASTEEL of Lakefield, Minnesota, was born to William Earl (Jack) & Betty Casteel on January 10, 1967 and departed this life on Sunday, April 10, 2016, at the age of 49 years and 3 months.

He was preceded in death by both parents and one brother, Donald Casteel. Survivors include his 4 sisters: Beverly (Bill) Williams of Springfield, Missouri, Peggy Collins of Springfield, Missouri, Barbara (Wayne) Baker of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Brenda (Jerry) Reed of Strafford, Missouri. He is also survived by his companion, Jackie Huber, of Lakefield, Minnesota and also many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

Kenny loved anything Nascar, tractor pulls, drag racing, working on cars, wrestling, and all of the little nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was always willing to help and give to others. There are no words to describe how much he is loved and will be missed. We feel that the Lord and his dad and mom and brother were waiting to welcome him as he crossed over into Heaven.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 13, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home in Springfield, Missouri, with arrangements then to take Kenny home to Minnesota where he will be laid to rest in Lakefield Cemetery after services at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, at the Osterburg Funeral Home in Lakefield, Minnesota.
