Kay was born December 17th, 1942 in Springfield, Missouri, to William and Lois Hayter.
She worked for many years at Reinhardt Foods in Springfield.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Wanda Jo Metz.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann Lynell Gallegos; four grandchildren, Kelsey Grider, Tyler Daniels, Alyssa Gallegos and Esperanza Gallegos; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Roberta Hurd and Peggy Hayter.
A Memorial Gathering/Visitation will be held from 4:00pm - 6:00pm on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home in Springfield, Missouri, 500 E. Walnut Street, Springfield, Missouri.
