Kathryn Schaefer

Mrs. Kathryn Joann Schaefer, 54, Gainesville, MO passed away Tuesday in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, MO. She was a loving homemaker.
She was born August 24, 1957 in Topeka, KS to Russell and Jean (Coon) Barker.
Preceding her in death were her parents, one daughter, Jennifer Renee Schaefer and her brother in law “Hap” Schaefer.
Kathryn is survived by her husband, John W. Schaefer of the home, two sons, Justin Schaefer and his wife Amber of Protem, MO and Cody Schaefer and his wife Dondey of Sapulpa, OK, her granddaughter Bethany Dawn Schaefer of the home, Jessika Rose Schaefer of Protem, MO and Carliegh Jo Schaefer and Dylan Clark of Sapulpa, OK, one brother, Wesley Barker and his wife Ann of Huntsville, TX, her mother in law Mary Hyde of Bandera, TX and her sisters in law, Shirlene Appelt and her husband Mike and their children and one grandchild and Lana Schaefer Gillespie-Zhuel and her husband, daughter and grandchildren, all of San Antonio. TX.
Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home.
