Mrs. Kathleen Floyd, 82 of Springfield passed away at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 25, 2005 in Springfield Rehabilitation and Health Care Services.
Kathleen was born Feb. 7, 1923 in Gloucester City, New Jersey. She married Stephen Floyd, Sr. on April 21, 1943. Mrs. Floyd recently moved to Springfield from Sun City West, Arizona.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Floyd, Sr. of Springfield; her son and his wife, Stephen and Robin Floyd, Jr. of Bolivar, Mo.; her two grandchildren, Stephen Floyd, III and Yvette Tennant; and her great grandson, Shane Tennant.
Memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005 in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church 2200 W. Republic Road with Msgr. Thomas Reidy celebrant under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc. P.O. Box 4995 Springfield, MO 65808. No visitation is planned. Online condolences can be made at www.hhlohmeyer.com.
