Katherine "Pitts" Harrison

Mrs. Katherine Marie (Pitts) Harrison, of Mt. Vernon, MO, passed away on Monday March 30, 2015 at the age of 55.

Katherine (Kathy) was born to parents Charles and Stella Pitts on December 23, 1959 in Panama Canal, Panama. She grew up as the middle child and attended Kickapoo High School. She was a resident in the state of Oklahoma for 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to church, playing with her dog; Rinky Dink, sewing, cross stitch, and being with her grandchildren.

Kathy survived by her son, Aaron Harrison; her Daughter and son- in law, Christina and Rodney Treat; her son and daughter- in law, Ian and Katy Harrison; her parents, Charles and Stella Pitts; her brother and sister-in law, Terry and Tammy Pitts; sister, Lisa Hausman; three grandchildren, Keelie Treat, Keaton Treat, and Owen Harrison; 7 nieces and nephews and spouses, Tad, Jordon, Heather & Jimmy, Terianne, Tatelyn and Kal, Alex, and Brandon; and one amazing dog, Rinky Dink. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ruby and John Pitts, and Emil and Edna Meyer.

To celebrate her life, there will be a service at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral home in Springfield, MO on Friday April 3, 2015 at 3:00p.m.
