Katherine Boggs

Katherine Sue Boggs, 52, of Clever, passed away Monday, July 19, 2010 in Cox South Hospital. She was born October 19, 1957 in Beaverton, Oregon to Leslie Otto and Mary Katherine (Blakey) Nichols.

Katherine was a homemaker who enjoyed crafts, knitting and cooking and was especially fond of giving gifts that she made to her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy; three step-children, Destiny Marie Boggs, CollinWayne Boggs of Springfield, and Morgan Lee Brake of the Niangua area; ; siblings Wayne Nichols (Pam), Mike Nichols, Ruth Nichols all of Springfield, David Nichols (Tammy), of Niangua; step-brother, Charles Owrey; uncle, Bill Blakey (Jewell), Springfield; many nieces, nephews, and cousins and friends; and a special cousin, Vickie Pennergrass, who was like her sister. Also survived by her mother-in-law, Judith Clayton of Springfield; her sister-in-law, Kathy Minor (Eddie) of Springfield, brothers-in-law, Kenneth Boggs (Leslie) of Springfield, Stanley Conway, Jr. (Joanie) of Bonne Terre, Mo., Billy Conway of Farmington, Mo.

Memorial Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2010 with Memorial Service starting at 3:00 p.m. in Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut, Springfield. Private burial will be in Prospect Cemetery in Bois D'Arc, Mo
