Juanita Roberts

Juanita Mae (Read) Roberts passed away at 1:40am on November 27, 2013 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 77, surrounded by family. She was born in Streetman, Freestone County, Texas on March 4, 1936 to Tilden Earl Read and Fannie Mae Vipperman. She was always a very loving and caring person who would try to help anyone that needed it. She loved painting, sewing and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.

Juanita was a resident of the Moyers Community and Antlers, Oklahoma for 24 years until 1987, she had lived for the past several years at the residence of her daughter in Springfield, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four siblings, Cecil Read, Lyndle Read, Glen Read and Lestene (Read) Perry; and a grandson, J. W. Hollifield.
Surviving relatives include her children, Elaine Strebe and Carl of Springfield, Missouri, Johnny (Bud) Hollifield and wife Jodie of Barnsdall,Oklahoma, Roy Roberts and wife Michelle of Barnsdall, and Cody and wife Hannah of Spring Hill, Tennessee; 15 grandchildren, Jessica Vanderpool, Greg Strebe, Jessica Jones, Ashley Roberts, Desiree Roberts, Sable Sisney, Bryce Owens, Allison Livingston, Jace Mills, Weston Lowe, Ben Roberts, Lauren Roberts, Courtney Roberts, Hayley Roberts and Grace Roberts; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Vernon Read of Moyers and Harold (Peewee) Read and wife Liz of Alba, Texas; two sisters, Jeanette Hilley of Richardson, Texas and Nelda Bump and husband Billy of Garland, Texas; 18 nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
