Juanita Humble Parker, 88, Springfield, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012 in Magnolia Square. She was born January 28, 1924 in Kansas City, Mo to Clarence and Flossie Tindle Humble.
Juanita was a graduate of Greenwood School, and attended Southwest Missouri State University where she was a member of Alpha Sigma Tau. She was a bookkeeper for Robertson Food Packing Company for 31 years and in recent years worked processing the payroll for Mexican Villa Restaurants.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jack Humble. Survivors include one son, Jack G. Parker and wife Ellen; two grandchildren, Shay Lynn and Jeffrey Jack and many loving friends and neighbors.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday July 27, 2012 in Maple Park Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Humble officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut Street.
