Joy Alison (Young) Wand, 54, was called Home on December 1st, by way of a car accident. Joy, whose eloquent name-which was also the initials of her beloved Grand "Poppy"-was born November 27, 1956, to David and Vivian Young at a U.S. Air Force Base in Chateauroux, France. This afforded her the option at age 21 to choose either French or American citizenship; she made the proper choice. In early grade school years she was dubbed a "Free Spirit"; this pretty much describes her whole temporal sojourn. She was blessed with five adroit children, Rhys, Jetta, Nicholas, Jorgia, and Dio; and three heart-melting grandchildren, Lily, Andrew and Nicholai. Joy is also survived by her parents (this is not the way it should be); and sister, Cindy Burchfield and brother, Greg Young. While we celebrate Joy's life, we look forward to the joyous reunion on the Other Shore.
