Joe and Frances started their family and proceeded to follow their dreams. Joe’s love of nature, family and fishing took him on numerous vacations where he saw as many of the State Parks and National Monuments as possible.
He then went on to serve in the United States Post Office for 31 years which eventually brought him to the Springfield area, where he achieved his lifelong dream of owning his beautiful farm where he gardened and raised cattle.
He left his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren with memories of summers at the farm, hay rides, bonfires, sleigh riding, fishing and camping.
Joe gave to his family the beautiful gift of “time” enriching everyone’s lives that he came in contact with. His life lessons were invalueable to those lucky enough to have received them.
