He was born December 14, 1951 in New York, New York the son of Joaquin Jose Ortiz and Pura Conception Ramos.
Jose served in the United States Army as an SP4 from 1977 until 1979.
A Memorial Services with Full Military Honors will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street, Springfield, Missouri 65806.
