John William Hendrix

John Hendrix, age 58 of Springfield, Missouri passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 at his home.

The son of Gerald W. and Carolyn S. (Haynes) Hendrix was born February 27, 1958 in Springfield, Missouri.

John was a fork lift operater and longtime employee of Loren Cook Company. He enjoyed fishing, old cars and NASCAR.

He was preceded in death by his father; and grandparents, John and Gertrude Hendrix and Wilma Haynes.

Survivors are his mother, Carolyn Hendrix of Springfield; sister, Delania White and husband Don of Springfield; brother, David Hendrix and wife Stephine of Springfield; and sister, Connie Hendrix; nephews and nieces, Jason Vestal, Amanda Lee, Haley Hendrix, Heather Hendrix , and Jeremy Lenderman; five great-nephews and niece; and several aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2016 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home in Springfield, Missouri.

Funeral Service is 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home with burial following in Mathis Cemetery near Niangua, Missouri.
