John Fath

John Fath went to be with the Lord on July 31, 2004. He was born on July 12, 1935 in West Allis, Wisconsin, to Joseph and Mary Fath. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Raymond and Joseph.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Mona Fay (Hinds) Fath, their children, Scott, Fonya and Douglas Dashnaw, Valerie and Tony Moreno, Mona J. Fath, and one grandson Tyree Galbreath; his sisters, Jan Raybol, Sandra Potter and husband Jim, Marie Meier and husband Joe, and Carol Fath; his brothers, Karl, Ralph and Mike, and a host of nieces and nephews.

John was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a security guard, then later as a salesman. He took great pride in his family and we honor him for his strength and courage.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 5, 2004 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut, with Dr. John Justice officiating. Burial will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
