John Crum

Mr. John Samuel Crum, 81, of Ozark, Mo. formerly of Mexico, Mo. passed away at 11:37 a.m. Friday Sept. 2, 2005 in St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Mo.

John was born Feb. 14, 1924 in Mexico, Mo. to Giles B. & Sarah Esther (Byars) Crum. He worked for 39 years with the A.P. Green Refractories in Mexico, Mo. Mr. Crum served as deacon and was a long time member of the Centennial Baptist Church in Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Sarah and his brothers, Andrew & Howard.

Survivors include his wife of over 55 years, Marjorie; his three children, Rev. David Crum, Kathy Crum, and Daniel Crum and his wife Marla; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Crum, Emily Budd and her husband Brian, Jameson Crum and Joshua and Alex Crum; three great grandchildren Asher, Israel and Lily Budd and other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday Sept. 6, 2005 in The Baptist Home Chapel 1625 W. Garton Rd. Ozark, Mo. with the Rev. Tommy Harper officiating under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.
