Jimmy Price

Jimmy Dean Price, age 56, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016 in his home. He was born October 26, 1959, in Springfield, Missouri. He was the son of Wilma (Freeman) Price and Jimmy L. Price. He attended Hillcrest High School in Springfield. On July 22, 1989, he and Angie (Kiser) Price were united in marriage.

Jim loved his family and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He spent several years as a restaurant manager and route delivery salesman in Springfield. He loved bowling, watching the Cardinals, and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include: wife, Angie, Springfield; son James Price and wife Lindsey and granddaughter Vivian, Springfield; daughter Debra Price, Bolivar; sister Melissa Wilke and husband David, Springfield; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy L. Price and Wilma D. Price, and sister, Deborah Price.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, April 18, 2016 at Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home in Springfield. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri at 3161 W Norton Road, Springfield, Missouri.
