Jerry Lowrance

Jerry L. Lowrance, 57 of Springfield, died Sunday, February 5, 2006. Jerry was born June 17, 1948 in Springfield, Missouri to Beuford Leroy and Kathlee Inabelle (Goss) Lowrance.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Lowrance; his four sons, Christopher Lowrance, and his wife Melanie, of Indianapolis, Indiana, Robert Lowrance, and his wife Elizabeth, of Springfield, Matthew Lowrance, and his wife Hannah, of Springfield, and B.J. Lowrance of Springfield; his parents, Beuford and Inabelle Lowrance; and six grandchildren, Katy, Bailey, Jordan, Samantha, Mary and Maggie; many cousins and friends.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2006 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Fr. Fergus Monaghan and Msgr. Thomas Reidy concelebrants. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2006 in the funeral home.

Mr. Lowrance was a much loved husband and father. "Dad, you taught the four of us boys how to be good men. Because of you, we have the strongest example of what a man should be for God and his family. We love you so much, and we know that your soul is with our Lord, Jesus Christ in Heaven, watching over us and waiting for us to see you once again."
