He was born September 27, 1945 in Bolivar, MO to Joe and Verda Harris.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and first wife, Miriam Harris.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Katherine Harris; son, Brian Harris; daughter, Darlene Eden; grandchildren, Matthew, Shelby, Addison, Teran, Bethany, Joey, Isabella, Paige, Kyle, and Brooklyn.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday January 17, 2013 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut St. Springfield, MO.
