Jerry Gibson

Mr. Jerry Lee Gibson, 67, Miller, MO departed this life Friday, May 7, 2010 in his home.

He was born February 25, 1943 in Santa Monica, CA to Maurice Floyd and Mildred Helen (Taylor) Gibson. Jerry was a jack of all trades - from race car driver to gunsmith. He was an avid gardner and loved everything to do with the outdoors. He has several grandchildren and some great-grandchildren on the way. Jerry loved to visit with anyone who would stop long enough - he was always full of stories.

Survivors include his daughters, Kelly Hert and Dana Lacy, and his son Jerry Gibson; his mother, Mildred Pretti; and his sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Jim Carter.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 19, 2010 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street, Springfield, MO.
