Jerry Joseph Franklin, 75, Springfield, MO passed away Tuesday May 19, 2009 in Springfield Rehab and Health Care Center.
He was born October 28, 1933 in Des Moines, Iowa to Joseph and Jean (Akers) Franklin.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Jeanette Franklin; his children, Rhonda Vitale, Bill Franklin, Mike Franklin, Jeff Franklin; five granddaughters; and five grandsons.
Memorial visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday May 21, 2009 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut.
Memorial graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday May 22, 2009 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
