Jerald Gilmore

Jerald Edward Gilmore, age 74, of Springfield, Mo., passed away Friday, August 27, 2010, in his home. He was born January 13, 1936, in Springfield, Mo., to Charles and May (Ashton) Gilmore.

His father, Charles, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Sherrel (McKee) Gilmore, Springfield, Mo.; and five children, Mark Gilmore, Robin Duvall, Becky Fieker, Lisa Williams, Scott Gilmore; and stepdaughter, Terisa Mitchell, all of Springfield, Mo. Jerald is also survived by 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers; and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home on Thursday, September 2, 2010, at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
