Jennie Girardi

Mrs. Jennie L. Girardi, 82 of Springfield passed away Monday morning Feb. 5, 2007 in her home.

Jennie was born Nov. 19, 1924 in Independence, Louisiana to Charles and Mary (Lucia) Farinella. She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandaughter, Lisa Marie and a brother, Louis.

Survivors include her husband, Guy of the home; two sons, Raymond and his wife Ginny, and Michael; four grandchildren, Guy and his wife Melinda, Teresa, Joe and his wife Patricia, and John; seven great grandchildren, Daniele, Krista, Nicole, Billy, Mandy, Yvette and Preston; two great great grandchildren, Joshua and Jakob; her brother, Anthony, and her sister, Angela and her husband Frank.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Fr. Lewis E. Hejna celebrant. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut St.
