Jeffrey Lee Kyger: October 13, 1965 – September 2 2022
Jeffrey Lee Kyger passed away on September 2, 2022 at his home in Springfield.
Jeff was born October 13, 1965, the son of Julie (Dahmer) Kyger and John F Kyger, Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Julie Kyger, his brother, Bob Kyger, one son, Timothy Kyger, all of Springfield, and his grandmother, Helen Dahmer, of Nevada, MO, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, John F. Kyger, Jr.
Jeff was a 1984 graduate of Parkview High School in Springfield. He had a career with Allied Van Lines in Springfield, and later went on to serve 22 years with Southwestern Insulation in Nixa.
Jeff was known for his dedication to all his family and friends and his willingness to help others in need, but most of all for his sense of humor. He always saw the lighter side of any situation and had the ability to make people laugh and feel
happy to be in his circle of friends and family. A master of practical jokes, Jeff took great pride in innocently teasing the people he loved most. He was known for roadside service to strangers in need, sharing his mechanical talent and gentle
nature to ease anxiety and get them safely back on the road. He will be remembered as a best friend to all who knew him. He is deeply loved and will be sorely missed by many loved ones.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut St, in Springfield at 11:00 am, Friday, September 16th, 2022, with the Reverend Delroy Bender officiating. A Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
