Jean Jones passed away May 11, 2011 with her husband Don, sons Dennis and Dale, grandsons Matthew and Troy, granddaughters Katrina and Jennie and daughter-in-law Connie by her side.

Jean was born April 7, 1936. She was born and raised in MI. She married Troy Hill in 1955. She dedicated her life in service in the community. She had worked for Voice of Music in Benton Harbor. She became an independent business woman in 1978 where she owned and operated Twin City Security Agency, a collections and security out of Benton Harbor. She acquired her Private Investigator License in 1980. She was also a volunteer probation officer for Berrien County's Fifth Judicial District in MI. Her years of sevice to this business and community, she was awarded numerous commendations from local police forces within Berrien County.

In 1984 she headed for adventure settling in MO. She loved people and loved to serve and worked for Litton for four years where she met her loving husband Don. Jean and Don were married June 15, 1996.

She also worked at Great Salt Lake Bank and also had met many people while until recently working for Wal-Mart.

She battled cancer fighting to win victoriously. Jesus called her home for rest after a strong fight.

Jean is survived by her husband Don Jones, sons Dennis Hill and wife Sheila and Dale Hill and wife Connie, daughters Debora Alexander and husband Ken, Denise Faultersack and husband Gary, step daughter Kim Batz and husband Chris, eight grandchildren, two step grandchildren, sisters, Kathleen Morgan and husband Joe, Emma Kilmar and husband Asa also survive, along with many nieces and nephews and sisters-in law, Judy Bunce and Eddie Finehout. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lorenzo Finehout and Ernest Finehout and her first husband Troy Hill.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Saturday May 14, 2011 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street, Springfield, MO 65806.
