James Michael "Mike" Burns

James Michael "Mike" Burns, passed away May 7, 2011. He was born July 16, 1937 to Jim and Laura Burns. Mike was a native of Springfield, Missouri, a graduate of Missouri School of Mines, and married Nancy L. Burns. He is survived by his wife, sister Kathie Rayfield, and 3 children, Mike Burns and wife Jaine (grandchildren, Samantha, Regan, Jamie, Erin and Blake), Kevin Burns and partner Kevin O'Neill, Kathleen Frye and husband Chris ( grandchildren, Adrienne and Isabelle). He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

A rosary service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday May 21, 2011 with a memorial mass starting at 11 a.m. Saturday both in St. Agnes Cathedral and committal service to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice or St. Gabriel Catholic Church Building Fund McKinney, TX.
