James Kilgore

James LeRoy "Jim" Kilgore, son of Ernie Kilgore and Norma Kilgore was born in Springfield, MO. on December 10, 1945, and departed this life on October 26, 2012 in Springfield, MO at the age of sixty six years.

Jim received his education in Springfield and entered the work force at an early age. He worked as a Weigh Scale Technician in Ft. Smith, AR for many years before relocating back to Springfield, MO. He served in the National Guard for 2 years.

His interests included automobile racing, electronics and spending time with family and friends, and casual outings. He will be well remembered by his family, friends and co-workers for his strong work ethics and sense of humor.

Survivors include one son, Bobby Kilgore and his wife Rachelle of Bella Vista, AR. One grandchild, Zak. Two brothers, Ronald Kilgore of Lake Havasu, AZ and Jerry Kilgore of Springfield, MO.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father and two brothers.

Visitation for James L. Kilgore will be held Friday, November 2, 2012, from 12 to 2 p.m. in Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut St. with services to follow the visitation at 2 p.m. Paul Spanek will officiate. Burial services will be announced at a later date.
