James Keltner

Mr. James H. Keltner, 66, Springfield, MO passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012 in his home. He was the son of Harold and Mary Mallonee Keltner.
Jim graduated from Parkview High School in 1962. He was united in marriage to Kay Kyser in 1982.
Jim’s early career was in radio working as a DJ in Miami, OK, Jackson, MS and Pittsburg, KS. Later he worked as MC for B.J. Thomas.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents Lionel and Myrtle Keltner.
Survivors include his wife Kay of the home, and his son James Ashley of Bella Vista, AR as well as his beloved cats, Smokey and Tiger.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 4, 2012 in Asbury United Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service in the church. Burial will follow in Maple Park Cemetery.
