James W. Hitchcock, 51 of Springfield passed away at 3:15 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2009 in his home in Bolivar, Missouri.
James was born June 11, 1958 in Des Moines, Iowa to Joseph J. and Mary Etta (Wood) Hitchcock. He is survived by his sister, Carol VanBenthusen of Springfield; his three nieces, his nephew and two great nieces and a great nephew.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday Nov. 23, 2009 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tommy Loving officiating under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home. No visitation is planned. Online condolences can be shared at www.hhlohmeyer.com.
