James Craig

James L. Craig, 67, Springfield, passed away at 7:02 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15,2022 in Cox South Hospital.

He was born May 22,1955 in Springfield, Missouri to Edgar and Betty Craig. He attended Pleasant Hope school.

He married Deborah Tindle January 31, 1977, they had 3 children together. Later him and Cindy Hutchings married on April 11, 1986, they had one child together. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing, and sitting around having a cold one. He was the type of man who would give his shirt off of his back if you needed it.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Mary Lou Watson, and his brother Danny Craig.

He survived by his siblings: Robert Ross, Robert Craig, Sandra Duncan, Edna Boland, Eddie Craig, Tong Craig and his children: Jammie (Jeff) Kazor, James Craig, LeAnn (Adam) Newman, Marketa Craig , 13 grandchildren , 4 great grandchildren and best friends Ronnie Young ( Herbert Plum) and his wife Joyce Young.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 3:00 pm Tuesday, November 22,2022 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street in Springfield, Missouri with Pastor Philip Wright officiating.
