James Allen Berry, 71, of Aurora peacefully passed away at 5:01 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021 in Cox Medical Center South.
James was born September 4th 1949. To Warren and Vera Berry. James was a proud veteran, he served two tours in Vietnam and then continued to serve until 1976; he was also an avid motorcyclist, devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents Warren and Vera Berry; two brothers Bob Berry, John Berry and sister Mary Belle Raby.
He is survived by sister Betty Berry and brother Bill Berry; his spouse Beverly Berry of the home. His two daughters and sons; Danielle and husband James Copeland of McLouth, KS, their children Jacob, Jackson, Jeremy, Megan Tacy her spouse Kyle and great granddaughter Kylie Tacy; Tiffany Ringen her two children Timothy Ringen of Ash Grove, MO, Dustin Adney, great grandaughter Naomi Adney of Springfield, MO; his son Christopher Berry of the home, his significant other Brandy Brown their children, Michael Berry, Jordan McKinney, Makayla Mason, James Dalton Peak, Paige Brown, Trace Kazen and Alicesyn McKinney; His step-son Toby Reel, spouse Jacklin Reel children Jessica Reel, Hope Reel, Houston Deckard, Summer Deckard and Stacy Carr, great grandchildren Sienna Deckard and Bryson Deckard.

Visitation will be held from 9:00-9:30am on Friday, July 30, 2021 where Funeral Services will begin at 9:30am in the Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street in Springfield, Missouri with Pastor Mark Orchard officiating.
Graveside Services with Full Military Honors will be held at 11:00am Friday, July 30, 2021 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Road in Springfield, Missouri with the funeral escorted from the funeral home to the cemetery by the Warrior’s Watch Riders of Springfield, Missouri.
