Jacqueline Ashley

She was born November 14, 1924, in Springfield, Missouri, to Guy and Thelma (Roundtree) Burkhead. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Jacqueline was a member of University Heights Baptist Church and lived her life devoted to God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Ashley, and her son, Tim Ashley.

She is survived by her daughter, Robyn Meyer, and her husband David; her sons, Mark Ashley, and his wife Barbara, Matt Ashley, and his wife Cathy; her grandchildren, Amy Clark, and her husband Kyle, Andy Meyer, and Madeline Ashley; and her great-grandchild, Bryson Clark.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 2, 2008, in the chapel of University Heights Baptist Church with Pastor Dan Chisholm, officiating. Burial will follow in Hazelwood Cemetery, all under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut..

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
