Iva McKeefrey, 87 of Springfield passed away Friday, Jan. 22, 2010 in ManorCare Health Services.
Iva Pearl Freeman was born Dec. 28, 1922 in Tullahoma, TN. The family moved to Crocker, MO where Iva graduated from high school and was a star volleyball player.
Iva married Roy Ehrman and they lived in Baltimore, MD. He worked for Bethlehem Steel and she for Dad's Cookie Company. Iva returned to Springfield and married Dan Fitzgerald. After his death, she married Joseph McKeefrey in 1986. They had homes in Humansville and Springfield.
Iva is survived by her brother Darwin Ray Freeman and his wife Sarah and by several nieces and nephews.
Iva Pearl loved Jesus Christ as her Savior and is now home with Him, whole and complete in heaven.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday Jan. 25, 2010 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut Street with Rev. Bob Elder, Chaplain of Good Shepherd Hospice officiating. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service in the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
