Howard Ogden, Jr.

Howard Vernon Ogden, Jr. 58 of Springfield passed away at 12:05 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16, 2009 in in his home.

Howard was born Oct. 14, 1950 in Holbrook, Arizonz to Howard Vernon and Mona (Beadle) Ogden, Sr. Vernon worked as a finish carpenter for Modern Exteriors. He loved to fish and hunt and was a wonderful caring friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Rita Ogden. He is survived by his significant other, Brenda Sanders; his five sons, Shawn, Chad, Zane, Jake and Eric Ogden; his three daughters, Brittney, Reagan and Kara Ogden; his stepson, Allan German; his brother, David Ogden, his sister, Cathy Barrett and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut Street with Chaplain Mike Herr officiating. No visitation is planned.
