Herbert G. Saltkill, 76 of Springfield passed away Sunday Oct. 25, 2009.
Herbert was born April 14, 1933 in Springfield, Mo. to Bert and Edna (King) Saltkill. He was preceded in death by his brothers Bill, John, and Clyde; and his step-son Tom.
He is survived by his daughter, Cissi Montgomery; his grandchildren, Melissia, David, Nathan, Shannon, Jesse, and Robert; his great granchildren, Autumn, Alyssa, Jessilynn, and Nicholas his sisters, Rosetta, Barbara, Cora Jean, and Bonnie; his step-children are Bobby, Sandy, Shelia, Nancy, Katie, Sylivia, Sharon, and Aaron; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Sat. Oct. 31, 2009 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Chapel. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today (Friday) in the funeral home.
