Helen H. Korinek, 93, formerly of Highlandville, passed away Wednesday December 16, 2009 in Christian Health Care of Nixa.
She was born April 4, 1916 in Ulysses, Nebraska to Joseph F. and Louise (Lyba) Homolka. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Korinek; her sons-in-law, Danny Garrett and Robert Alan Gewinner; her brothers, Frank, Emo, Lou and Leonard; her sisters, Clara, Lillian and Agnes.
She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Garrett; her grandson, Anthony John Gewinner; her great-granddaughter, Sevanna Gewinner; her in-laws, Evelyn Perry, Wilma Guzzitta; and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews and freinds.
There are no services planned at this time. Burial will be at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery in Ulysses, Nebraska.
