Harold Dean Stepp, 72, Springfield, passed away Friday night March 21, 2008 in Cox Hospital South.
He was born December 13, 1935 in Springfield, Missouri to Oral and Kathryn (Thompson) Stepp. Harold was a Master Mason of Solomon Lodge # 271 of Springfield. He was also a member of the Kiwanis and Rotary Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Reonne Marie Stepp, and his father.
Harold is survived by his mother, Kathryn Stepp; his children, Gary Stepp, and his wife Diane, Dianne Denney, and her husband Rick, Mike Stepp, and his wife Angie; his grandchildren, Stephanie Denney, Amber Nichols, Nick Hobbs, Natalie Perryman, Megan Gregory, Tyler Hobbs, Charity Stepp, Jessica Stepp, and Tyler Stepp; his great grandchildren, Sean Steven Denney, Madison Young, and Lexie Young; and his siblings, Howard O. Stepp and Joetta Rader.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut, with Rev. Durwin Kicker officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
