Harold Cramer

Harold John Cramer, 88, Springfield, passed away April 25, 2015 in Mercy Hospital.

He was born April 2, 1927 in Muskegon, Michigan to Frank and Susie (Kerner) Cramer. Harold was a retired Staff Sergeant from the United States Army. Harold was a veteran of two wars.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Iva Cramer; second wife, Lela Cramer; and his sister, Lillian Agnes Glass.

Harold is survived by his nephew, Tom Glass; niece, Mary Kelly; step-daughter, Judy Blackmon; and step-son, John Ball.

Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday April 29, 2015 in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Denis Dougherty, O.S.B. celebrant. Burial with military honors will follow in Springfield National Cemetery.

Rosary services will be at 5:00 p.m. with visitation to follow until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday April 28, 2015 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut St.
