Mrs. Gladys I. McClure, 85, Mt. Vernon, went to her heavenly home peacefully at 3:45 a.m. Friday April 22, 2005 surrounded by her loving family.
Gladys was born June 15, 1919 in Verona, Mo. to Martin and Gertrude (Bandy) Peterson.
She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Shirley and Wellman Edwards and Ali and Bob Stubblefield; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday April 25, 2005 in Liberty United Methodist Church Monett, Mo with Rev. Norman Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service time in the church.
