Gertrude Mulder

Gertrude T. Mulder, 90, Springfield, passed away at 2:10 a.m. Wednesday December 24, 2008 in St. John's Hospital, Springfield. She was born August 1, 1918 in Willmar, MN.

Gertrude loved her church and taught Sunday School. She was an accomplished organist and enjoyed volunteering at Cox Hospital. She was a member of CBC Auxillary. She was active with womens bible study at Central Assembly and Maranatha. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, William Mulder and siblings, George, Mark, Albert Sr., Albert Jr., Louis, Jean and Lena Tazelaar and Grace Helmus. Survivors include her two sons and their spouses, Bill and Carrie Mulder of Tulsa, OK and Scott and Terri Mulder of Houston, TX, grandchildren Jeff and Whitney Mulder, Christy, Nicole and Elsie Mulder and many nieces and nephews including her niece Linda Lundquist and husband Joel of Burnsville, MN.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday December 26, 2008 in Maranatha Chapel with Pastor Owen Carr officiating under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Springfield, MO. Burial will be in Springfield National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. in Maranatha Chapel prior to the service.
