George Traucht

George "Edward" Traucht was born August 12, 1933 in Jenera, Ohio and passed away April 5, 2009 in St. John's Hospital from complications of multiple myeloma cancer. He was 75 years old. He will be missed terribly by his wife and family.

Eddie graduated from California schools, where he was President of the student body at Long Beach College where he met and married Jeanne his wife of fifty-one years. Eddie also served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean war.

Eddie loved to golf and bowl. He was known to be the guy who could fix anything and if he didn't have the right tool he would make one.

He is survived by his wife Jeanne, his daughter Katrina and son-in-law Dean Marcucci who were at his bedside moments before he left us to go be with his savior Jesus Christ.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday April 7, 2009 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday April 8, 2009 in Trinity Lutheran Church, 1415 S. Holland, with Pastor William Marler officiating.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday April 9, 2009 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
