George Neal Sr.

George Donald Neal Sr., 64, passed away Saturday October 29, 2011 in Springfield, Missouri.

He was born September 23, 1947 in Connecticut to Allen and Ilene (Fennell) Neal.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Johnie Lawerence; brothers, Elwin Neal and Bill Neal; and sister, Katherine Cambell.

George is survived by his mother, Ilene Lawerence; sons, George Neal Jr. (Brandy) and Kevin Neal; 7 grandkids, Bradley, Katlynn, Kelli, Kaylee, Kevin, Colton, and Isabel, three brothers, four sisters; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday November 4, 2011 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut St. Burial with military honors will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday November 3, 2011 in the funeral home.
